COLLECTION WOMEN
The colours and beauty of nature are the inspiration for the Gas Woman collection; soft shades of beige and pink alternate in harmonious rhythm with more intense colours such as green, yellow, brown and orange. The choice of prints, embroidery and graphics also pay homage to nature, with trees, flowers and leaves embellishing the clean, linear style of the garments.
Naturalness is also the key to the choice of mostly organic materials, such as pure cotton, cotton/wool mix and viscose. Of great importance here is the use of organic cotton that is not subjected to any kind of chemical treatment. Ethically and ecologically sustainable from cultivation to processing, it safeguards both the environment and the health of the individual. Common denominator for the whole collection are the details that make every single garment personal and elegant, highlighting the Gas woman’s femininity.
DENIM FOR GAS
Denim has always been part of the Gas dna, and is an essential part of the collection. Soul Denim came out of Gas’s search for excellence, a completely Made in Italy line with a vintage flavour, that expresses the authentic soul of denim to the full. Clean lines, basic fabrics and dark washes are the distinguishing marks of Soul Denim, a Seventies revival in a contemporary key, an understated restyling to give a brand new identity with all the usual Gas style. More visibility for the Gas logo, coloured threads, stretch and two-way stretch fabrics, restyled pockets and new labels are just some of the details that give denim a new look.
Fit in this line ranges from very tight to relaxed and comfortable, with the inclusion of an anti-fit area featuring a lower crotch and an easier-fitting waist. Everything about Soul Denim, from the washes to the fabrics and details, has been designed to bring back the authentic soul of denim.
COLLECTION MEN
The GAS MEN’S collection is inspired by the oriental philosophy of transformation, “WABI-SABI”. A view of Japanese aesthetic centered on the acceptance of transience and the inevitable evolution of things.
The Collection evokes a journey, an imaginary road that starts from nature and its open and pictorial spaces, to head with more rigorous and technological signs towards modern urban contexts.
For this collection GAS was inspired by the influences of nature and its seasons. Inspired by the colours of the earth, it merges all shapes and basic prints, representing stylized and harsh natural subjects that bring to mind trees, leaves, flowers, and wood, printed on garments of military and architectural balance.
DENIM, as always, is the beating heart of the collection. The quality and creativity of MADE IN ITALY are the distinctive features of the new line called SOUL DENIM. The craftsmanship in the construction of denim is seen in the use of sought-after fabrics and washes; proof of the natural-born development capabilities and creative strength of the brand. “Bio denim” for example, is made with organic cotton and natural indigo which does not undergo any type of chemical handling and therefore protects the environment.
The washes are specially studied to enhance the “real denim” and its authentic aspect. Authenticity and quality are tangible in MADE IN ITALY garments: Clean lines, sophisticated fabrics, and dark washes to bring out the best in trousers, shorts and jackets.
A wide range of fits are offered. Mostly inspired by the 1970’s, they are revisited in contemporary styles to get in line with current trends. A discrete restyling involving the details give it a brand new identity: logos in the forefront, colourful yarns, pockets and rear leather labels are only just a few of the details that renew the denim and honour its true nature.
