Beautiful shades of blue remind of Mediterranean Sea spirit which is equally spread over both product groups: Belts and scarves. We combine hand painted and soft velour leather with classic buckles. An exclusive mix of canvas and leather awards an ingenious two-layer appearance. The light Summer mood continues with hand dyed batik fabric and 100% habutai silk displaying ‘flying’ feathers prints. The marine inspiration is anchored in every piece of this Summer programme.
The Summer trip continues but we stop at Port Lligay in Spain where Salvador Dali used to spend his holidays seeking sources of inspiration. Attracted to shades of sandy beige, earthy taupe and red we developed a belts collection out of buffalo leather in raw vintage optic decorated with silver studs. Light
and crinkled linen scarves with contrasty selvedge reflect the relaxed sense of this hot season. Highlighting the sophisticated look, we offer soft silk scarves with ornamental zigzag prints in striking colours.
In the closing part of the Summer 2011 collection we remain commited to quality and creativity. Shades of greys, white and black are emphasising a contemporary look. Very classic, solid and simple belts made from Italian leather are becoming iconic objects. Cotton, viscose and silk scarves are decorated with sophisticated embroidery creating a new modern ethno look. Prints are rich in contrast combining shades of grey, whi-
te and black in small geometric ornaments and irregular patterns inspired by 1960‘s Op-Art style. Patchworked bandanas continue this minimal direction: The certain ‘something’ is to be found rather in simplicity than in complex things.
