From a small label to a major brand - the German Fashion Company “Rich & Royal” is growing further
How it all started...
In 2006 the two brothers Patrick and Denis Stupp founded the label “Rich & Royal” in Stuttgart. They were influenced by their father Peter Stupp since he founded the “Peter Stupp Mode Design GmbH” in 1986 and was the owner and CEO of the “Gin Tonic Spezial Mode GmbH”. Therefore, it was quite clear for the brothers where their professional journey would lead them.
Shortly after the brothers joined their father’s business in 2002, they recognized the current changes in the industry and took advantage of it. “Rich & Royal” was born. “We noticed a current market gap for high quality but at the same time rocking outfits – exactly the kind of fashion we wanted to design.”
The owners were inspired by the American rock band “Rich & Royal”, which they saw one time in New York. Therefore, they decided to give their brand the same name.
The Collection
The label offers women's (Queens’) collection which is designed by a creative team of six people at the headquarters. The designers combine inspiration from the latest fashion trends with their own creative ideas and create unique and individual designs for the typical “Rich & Royal” style.
High quality materials and a perfect fit are very important for the development of the collection. Each year there are four sophisticated High Fashion Collections with jeans, dresses, knitwear, leather jackets, blazers, outdoor jackets and coats, t-shirts and tank tops, sweatshirts, shirts, blouses and accessories, all of which are delivered to the stores five times per year.
Furthermore, “Rich & Royal” reacts to the latest trends with seasonal flash collections. By doing so, the label shows its sense of being up-to-date in the world of fashion.
The exclusive, high quality collection is largely produced in Europe, with Italy and Portugal being the main production countries. Only outerwear and leather are produced in Turkey and the Far East.
“Rich & Royal” competes at the same level with labels like Patrizia Pepe, 7 for all mankind, BOSS Orange, Closed, DIESEL or Drykorn.
