In 2014, Barbour celebrates its 120th birthday. Company founder John Barbour opened his first shop at Market Place, South Shields in Northern England in 1894, where he offered weatherproof clothing for fishermen and dock workers.
For Autumn/Winter 2014, Barbour‘s Lifestyle Collection for men focuses on jackets made of fabrics like wax cotton, quilted nylon and with a down filling on as well as soft woollen knitwear. The womenswear collection features elegant coats, jumpers, shirts as well as skirts, dresses and accessories in an autumnal colour palette.
