Boss Orange Menswear: NEW YORK CITY

With its collection themes “SoHo Rocker,” “Brooklyn Artist” and “Central Park,” the new BOSS Orange look for Fall/Winter 2010 comes across modern, authentic and urban – inspired by the unique New York City vibe.

We start at a trendy SoHo club, where the sounds are 21st-century rock’n’roll. The color palette is defined by the rocker’s eternal favorite – black – flanked by gray mélange, white and shades of blue. The looks are styled tough and authentic with a vintage flavor. A biker jacket in used-look lambskin leather pairs with hooded sweaters or oversized, wide-neck tees.

In artsy Brooklyn, glamour meets street style: BOSS Orange Menswear presents parkas with reinvented hoods and XXL collars to be worn with vintage jeans. Corduroy jackets are styled with checked flannel shirts and cool chinos.

Central Park is located in the very heart of the city, and BOSS Orange takes inspiration from the uptown romance of one of the world’s great parks. For a perfect winter stroll, the options include leather jackets with soft jersey tees under bulky-knit cardigans, and lined denim coats.

Denim plays a key role in the Fall/Winter collection. The materials are washed, overdyed and sprayed to create an authentic vintage “used” character. Never too classic – always urban and tough.

Accessories include rugged lamb-leather worker boots in a range of browns that color- coordinate with the weekender bags. Long boots complete the look, alongside canvas shoppers and voluminous wraparound scarves for keeping the New York City winter at bay.

BOSS Orange Womenswear: NEW YORK CITY

The looks are styled tough and seductive with a vintage flavor: a rugged leather jacket with studs is beautifully overdyed and hand-painted, making it the season’s must-have. Perfect for a winter stroll, women’s coats are oversized, while trousers come loose in harem styles or fitted in denim or silk blends. Shiny leather leggings in beige with a touch of gold are styled with airy chiffon dresses and heavy-knit cardigans.
