Angenehm auffallen abseits des Mainstreams …
Was wäre Stuttgarts Modeszene ohne Winni Klenks Kultladen an der Calwerstraße? Hier gibt es Accessoires sowie Damen- und Herrenmode abseits des Gewöhnlichen. Im Sortiment befindet sich ausgefallene Mode, angenehm auffällig und gerne auch ein wenig provokativ – eben Klamotten mit Kultfaktor! Seine Trends sucht sich Klenk aus den großen Modemetropolen wie New York, Mailand, Paris und London.
Den Anfang machte Winni Klenk 1982 in Stuttgart mit einem 35 Quadratmeter großen Second-Hand-Geschäft. Schon nach fünf Jahren öffnete er dann seinen Laden an der Ecke Silberburgstraße / Rotebühlstraße. Acht Jahre später legte Klenk noch einmal nach und entwickelte seine Mode in der Tübinger Straße weiter. Seit 2006 ist der Modezar mit dem Abseits zwischen Kunstmuseum und Szenebars am Kleinen Schlossplatz ansässig.
