Bio
Clizia Monaca was born in Arezzo in 1987. In 2010, she graduated in Product Design at the faculty of Architecture at the Univeristy of Florence. After an experience as interior designer, she approached to the world of fashion. In summer 2011 she drew her first jewellery collection for a high fashion designer, having an immediate success.
So, she was selected from Spiga2, the multibrand of Dolce&Gabbana in Milan. Having found her way, in 2012 she mets her childhood friend, Martina Raspanti, well placed in the world of jewellery production: together they decide to link their professionality, giving life to Égotique project.
Martina Raspanti was born in Arezzo in 1988. After studying accounting, she approached to the fashion world in 2008, starting to work for her family company, which produces accessories and jewellery for some of the most important Italian fashion brands. She interiorised all the steps of the high quality Made in Italy process, also looking after the administrative aspects. For Égotique she looks after all the production and administration aspects.
Brand Profile
In 2012 Égotique took form by the will of finding the concept of purity elements in the shapes. The jewelley brand is the result of the meeting of Clizia Monaca and Martina Raspanti, the two creative minds. Triangles, circles and cylinders are restored in new interactions, developing unique and unconventional effects.
The materials utilized includes 24 k gold washed brass, hard stones and acrylic resin. The care for details and the continuous aesthetic research mix together to the artisanal value of an high Made in Italy, bestowing sensuality, luxury and energy on each creation of the brand.
