A.O.CMS is a clothing brand founded by Rodrigo Gutierrez Benavente in Stockholm 2006. A testament to simplicity and sustainability, A.O.CMS makes affordable, well-researched basic garments in styles that have earned their natural place in the fashion canon by withstanding the test of time.

A.O.CMS believes in the longevity of a wardrobe of solid styles with strong identities – like the t-shirt, the boxer, the sweatshirt and the jeans. We do not aspire to make our mark through innovative fashion design. Rather, we want to raise the bar for what’s considered good quality for basic garments.

Great straightforward pieces for a reasonable price that makes the wearer feel good – that’s what we do. Although simple in look and style, each piece is precision-engineered to be an indispensable building block in the evershifting
mosaic of contemporary style.

The brand is made up of four minds, each responsible for an essential aspect of the label. Together they contribute with one piece each to the spirit of a brand that will never deviate from its principles of making excellent wardrobe staples available.

Our approach is democratic with regard to who is allowed to wear our product yet uncompromising as far as quality and packaging are concerned. To distill the good from the best in the history of garment styles is our purpose.

The way in which we challenge the idea that wardrobe staples either are disposable trash or over-priced luxury garments is through considered sourcing, beautiful packaging and honest, relevant communication about the brand – all for an affordable price. This is the reason our clothes are marked by a high level of know-how and quality and our compact wardrobe by consistency and longevity. In the A.O.CMS universe every stitch matters as much as every style in the wardrobe endures.


OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 - RESPONSIBLE TEXTILE PRODUCTION

Confidence in textiles – an international synonym for responsible textile production – and the motto of the independent test institutes of the International Oeko-Tex Association. It refers to their tests for harmful substances according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 for textile products which pose no risk whatsoever to health. For companies in the textile and clothing industry, the Oeko-Tex criteria catalogue provides, for the very first time, a uniform, scientifically founded evaluation standard for the human and ecological safety of textiles, against the background of the globalized and extremely fragmented nature of the textile manufacturing chain.

The Oeko-Tex label indicates to interested end users the additional benefits of tested safety for skin-friendly clothing and other textiles. In this way, the test label provides an important decision-making tool when purchasing textiles.
