BATATA is a progressive baby and children's clothing brand, founded in 2004 by fashion designer Irene Sang and business economist Doreen Grunert. Since then we have been providing a range of colourful children's wear from newborns to about 11 years of age. Our commitment to sustainability is based on our personal convictions and ethical approach to business. To keep transport routes short and support the regional textile industry, fabrics, trimmings and the finished pieces of our collection are produced and sewn in Germany. Our fabrics are made from 100% certified organic cotton, ensuring safe and healthy farming methods, and dyed and handled according to international organic standards. Our high quality organic shirts are now also available in women's and men's sizes.
