Raised in a small town in Missouri by a Thai mother and American father, Clemmie Watson now reveals its creative potential in Los Angeles. She is considered one of the most promising talents in the international jewelry scene - and it all started with a few beads and strings from the craft store.
Far away from mass and mainstream, made by handwork, Clemmie Watson designs jewelry in her own studio in LA. She is inspired by the dark sounds of the 80s by bands like Bauhaus, Joy Division, The Cure and Suicide. At the same time her pieces reflect her Thai roots, though very subtly and with great understatement. An exciting mix that creates high-quality details in every Clemmie Watson piece.
Her favorite motive, the skull, often used by Alexander McQueen, is interpreted completely new: Clemmie Watson combines feathers with horn, uses silk and leather, high noble metal and bone to create exceptionally artistic jewels.
