DB Shoes was founded in 1920 in Northamptonshire, the centre of British footwear manufacturing, by identical twins Jack and Bill Denton. The company is now run by third generation family members, Charles and David Denton, who are also identical twins.
Today, we are best known for our manufacture of comfortable, quality footwear in a variety of extra wide fittings. Indeed, no other British company offer a greater range of fittings for wider feet.
Made in England
Though footwear manufacturing in England has declined over the years, DB Shoes has bucked the trend with UK production increasing over the last couple of years to cope with increased demand. The majority of our shoes have been made at our Rushden factory, by experienced craftsmen with a sympathetic eye for detail. Look out for this symbol which shows that the style has been made in England.
On-going Research and Development
At DB Shoes, we have an on-going program of research, development and quality control which ensures that the footwear, whether made in England or by one of our partner factories abroad, continues to delight customers in terms of fit, quality and styling.
Whilst the company continues to manufacture well-loved styles for its loyal customers, it also aims to add new styles and colours each season, taking into account the latest trends in colour and styling, to ensure that the ranges remain stylish and up to date.
Feedback
DB Shoes has always valued feedback about its products and service from foot health professionals and customers alike. We know that your opinion helps us to develop the right product to meet our customers' needs.
