As a young girl, I loved going to the opera with my mother in St.Gallen. Instead of being captivated by the performances, I was enchanted by the wonderful array of fabulous embroidered skirts. A skirt is an essential item in a woman’s wardrobe, and over the years, a desire grew in me to reclaim the skirt for women everywhere.
