Biography
Isabel de Pedro was born in Bilbao in 1952. In the late 60s she began her career in the fashion world as a designer of prêt-à-porter on her own. She began to give expression to her creativity and style in the world of denim and tees, and soon she began designing full collections to become co-owner of the firm.
Tireless traveler and passionate about visual arts, film, literature, dance and theater have been her source of inspiration in many of her collections: Antonio Gaudi, summer 2003, the Russian avant-garde, Winter 2004, Dalí and Buñuel , winter 2003, Basque culture, summer 2004, the Spanish Golden Age, winter 2005, Italy, Summer 2005, Cuba, summer 2006, or China, winter 2006. The designer provocatively squeezes each of these subjects impersonating in shirts, suits, dresses, jackets, evening gowns ... with the presence of lycra and the color black as key elements to enhance the feminine silhouette.
Philosophy
