CLAE has been launched in 2001 out of the need for a new approach to footwear, which was to modernize the classic silhouettes to fit today’s active life style. CLAE was developed as an evolution of post-rebellious youth, when streetwear was rooted by skate, surf, punk and hip-hop. With that independent mind set we developed a sense of refinement in our style, where the clothes and shoes we used to wear do not define us as they did growing up; rather, we now define what we wear.
