Born in 2008, Mantù is the corporate brand of Castor Srl.


Situated in Castellucchio, in the province of Mantova, Castor Srl was established in 2003 by Angela Picozzi and her sister Elena. Started as a prototype company, and collaborator with high fashion Italian and French brands. As well as producing and distributing their own line Mantù, Castor also is responsible for the production and distribution of Giles Deacons collections, one of the most significative names on the contemporary British fashion horizon.
Angela and Elena’s parents also work in the company : mother, Graziella –talent scout who discovered, among others, Martin Margiela – and father, Mario – greatly experienced Neopolitan tailor.

“Mantua me genuit “ wrote Virgilio , and it is from the noble name of Mantova ,eclectic city where art, culture and tradition mix naturally with each other, that the label takes it’s name.

A label which is 100% Made in Italy, it’s key connotations lie in the high quality of the product and in the absolute care taken to detail, the result of carefully studied workmanship, timeless yet at the same time technologically geared to the future.

Mantù is an ambitious project undertaken by Castor Srl, having amongst its aims an incredibly solid relationship with major international buyers.
