n.d.c. made by hand
n.d.c. was created in 2001 by two friends passionate about shoes. Arnaud Zannier and Enrique Corbi opened a new dimension in men’s and ladies footwear by making shoes that are individual, anti-conformist, pure and functional without blindly following the ever-changing whims of fashion.
Arnaud and Enrique had seen a gap in the market for the kind of shoes that they wanted to wear – other brands seemed to be either too casual or too smart but there was not a lot in between.
Without restrictions to creativity or budget, they brought the best leathers from Tuscany to the finest artisans in Europe and created shoes for people like them who are in pursuit of authenticity and understated individualism. The brand name n.d.c. – nom de code / code name – reflects their conviction that the strength of the brand is the product itself, where simplicity, quality, originality and constructional know-how are king. They believe in style, in class, in strong personality, in understated grace, in subtle humour, in tradition and evolution, in fusion and harmony, but above all, in individuality.
Their philosophy has proven to be a success story as n.d.c. has grown into a reputable international brand that is found in the world’s finest fashion boutiques. The n.d.c. flagship store was opened in Brussels in 2009, with a store in Paris following in 2011.
Arnaud and Enrique are independent in creating their product from a to z which makes sense for a brand who’s priority and ultimate objective is the product itself.
