Mario Rabinovich and Jette Poulsen founded the company in 1990. The head office with own workshop is based in Aarhus, where it all began. Travels abroad inspired the couple to create unique and exciting jewellery.

Since then, the company has grown rapidly and Rabinovich jewellery is currently sold in leading goldsmiths,
primarily in Denmark, Holland, Germany, Sweden and Norway.

Rabinovich is more than just a personal jewellery brand with a unique philosophy – it is a genuine Danish jewellery business that has been quietly designing jewellery for the goldsmiths’ trade for more than two decades. We take pride in our design tradition while maintaining a humble approach. Our style is unpredictable and different, yet in tune with the latest fashions. And we adhere to the best design traditions and remain true to our roots and the high quality which has become our hallmark.

Rabinovich was established in 1990 from a passion for jewellery and jewellery-making and our jewellery concepts were developed and tested by all the women who loved wearing our designs. In the course of just a few years, we succeeded in establishing a company that challenged the traditional styles on the market – and we have never looked back. Our main markets are Denmark and the Netherlands, but our jewellery is also sold in Germany, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden and the USA.

Our jewellery collections are characterised by oxidised silver, forced shapes, intriguing combinations of pearls and stones, unexpected designs and experimental finishes which evolve in line with the latest trends. There is always a hectic level of activity at our workshop in Aarhus where, in addition to company management and design development, we quality test the jewellery and make the final refinements which ensure the pieces stand out and reflect the high quality for which Rabinovich is known.

Our founders and owners, Mario Rabinovich and Jette Poulsen, who play a hands-on role in running the business, both have creative backgrounds – Mario as a musician and Jette as an architect with extensive design experience. Jette heads our design development which boasts several imaginative goldsmiths, a team that works closely together to develop design successes for the following season. Team spirit is key when working creatively with the collections, which usually spring from a ring design.

We thrive in our family-owned business, which is permeated by a culture and a sense of spirit where each individual employee is an important part of the business. We hold dreams for the future and nurture big ambitions. Our hope is to foster even greater enthusiasm in our markets and to see our wonderfully feminine jewellery being worn by women worldwide.

Over the years the company has seen rapid development, with decisions being made daily to shape our future course. Rabinovich’s success is acknowledged by the jewellery industry – perhaps because ours is a genuine story that started the moment Mario and Jette met and discovered their shared love of jewellery and decided to make it their life’s work.
