From Spice Girl to acclaimed, reputable designer: Victoria Beckham proves how women can reinvent themselves completely.
Her trademark timeless cuts and figure accentuating silhouettes, have brought her eponymous label international fame. Twice securing the British Fashion Award for Label of the Year, Victoria Beckham is sailing close to the wind of success and is ruling her empire with a firm grip.
In 2004 Beckham designed a capsule collection for the Californian premium denim label "Rock & Republic". Two years later she presented her own denim line "dVb Style", with an eyewear line following soon after. 2008 was the breakthrough year for Victoria Beckham - she presented her eponymous label to the public as part of a selected group show at New York Fashion Week, introducing 15 dresses with unconventional, severe cuts thus establishing herself as a serious designer.
Handbags and leather goods followed two years later under the name VICTORIA BECKHAM Accessories: clear lines, bold colors and excellent craftsmanship were the stamp of her bags. In 2011 and 2014 she received the Brand of the Year Award at the British Fashion Awards. The brand’s sales in 2014 amounted to 30 million British pounds. In 2015 she is nominated for the womenswear designer prize again.
The label VICTORIA BECKHAM has become so successful that the designer launched her diffusion line VICTORIA by VICTORIA BECKHAM in 2011 thus extending her portfolio with denim, eyewear and fragrances.
Since 2008 VICTORIA BECKHAM DENIM has included a diffusion line at a reasonable price, offering dresses and basics in addition to jeans. The line has been incorporated into the VICTORIA by VICTORIA BECKHAM collection in the fall-winter season 2015.
VICTORIA BECKHAM stands for clear silhouettes, luxurious materials and exquisite workmanship. The collection includes not only the cocktail dresses that Beckham is known for, but also pantsuits, evening gowns and individual pieces. The designs which are usually monochromatic or simply with two coulours, impress with refined details without ever appearing overloaded. A selection of shoes completes the collection.
The designs by Victoria Beckham address classical themes and by adding sophisticated details bring a breath of fresh air - they possess the talent to embody fashion trends, and yet at the same time give rise to classics.
