THE COLLECTION
1-100 by Graham Tabor / Miguel Villalobos is an exclusive collection of hand crafted jewelry in sterling silver, 18k gold and leather. Made in numbered editions in the 1-100 New York atelier, the collection combines traditional and innovative materials with artisan techniques. Each piece in the collection is individually hand finished and numbered by the artists.
Tabor and Villalobos’s pieces for 1-100 have been featured in international publications such as Korean Vogue, Italian Vogue, French Vogue, China Vogue, W, Harpers Bazaar Australia, Elle Hong Kong, Interview and Encens Magazine to name a few.
Since Fall 2012, 1-100 has collaborated with designer Alexandre Plokhov creating a limited edition custom jewelry collection for his New York runway show. This collaboration is distributed internationally under the name 1-100 for Alexandre Plokhov
THE DESIGNERS
Tabor and Villalobos have separately and together shown at, Maison Martin Margiela, Ter et Bantine Space, The NOHO Design District and group exhibitions in Berlin, Santiago de Compostela, Zurich, Vienna and Trieste.
Tabor and Villalobos were invited by Diane Pernet to present a selection of 1-100 Pièce Unique at the 2010 SCOPE Art Fair in NY. Their solo sculpture show, “Hic et Nunc”, was first exhibition at Brachfeld Gallery Paris in 2010. Their second solo show of their sculpture and photographic work was shown at Portal+ Gallery in Australia in 2011 and HAPPA Space Tokyo in 2012. Miguel and Graham’s first monograph Hic et Nunc will be available globally in early 2012, published by Portal+. Their single commission Jewelry and Sculpture were then exhibited at Joyce Gallery Beijing in September 2012.
Tabor and Villalobos have ongoing collaborations with international design galleries Portal +, Australia and Cristina Grajales Gallery, New York. Grajales has presented Tabor and Villalobos' Single Commission jewelry at important international fairs such as Design Miami @ Art Basel, Pavilion of Art and Design and Design Miami @ Art Basel Miami Beach
