Anja Gockel is a designer with heart and soul. As a child she was fascinated by art, drawing and painting. After graduating from the world famous fashion school Central St. Martins in London she founded her Label anja gockel – London in 1996. Out of love she moved back to her hometown Mainz in 2000.

Countless press articles celebrate the label as a creative exception and make it popular internationally. With her enthusiasm and positive impression Anja Gockel established a highly motivated creative team, which has been writing a success story from the very beginning.
Anja Gockel knows about women´s problem zones and the social pressure put upon her customers to be as perfect as possible. That’s why her collection always emphasizes the female beauty. As a mother of four children, designer and businesswoman, it is important to her to make designer fashion wearable.

With lightness and sophistication Anja Gockel is able to underline the personality of every individual customer by using interesting drapery, silhouettes and colors. She states womanliness as an opposite pole to the widespread anorexic ideal in fashion. That’s why she creates her clothes in sizes XS/34 to XXL/48 with passion.
