Annalisa Caricato’s artistic studies first began in the city of Bari, where she was born.In 2000, after obtaining an honours degree in Industrial Design at the I.S.I.A. of Rome, she held her first workshop at Valextra Italia, in Milan.After this experience, she began numerous collaborations with international realities: from 2003 she worked as Junior Designer for Tod’s; Senior Designer for Dolce & Gabbana, Salvatore Ferragamo and Valentino. Then, she became a freelance leather goods Designer for Guess Europe, Emanuel Ungaro, Bulgari and Mandarina Duck.

From March she collaborates with CREA, in Geneva, as a lecturer and she is the manager for creativity and culture module within the Master in luxury marketing.

AnnalisaCaricato is her first project as an independent designer that is entirely created in Italy.

With her significant experience and know-how, which fully reflects her restless creative spirit and her determined, bubbly and glamourous nature, the designer unites the design flair and artisanal skills of Italian tradition with an aesthetic that is recognised on an international scale.

The products of this ‘Made in Italy’ brand have been entirely created by expert artisans, who all work according to extremely high quality standards, while honouring the traditions of the past – a philosophy that has become Italy’s stamp of excellence the world over.

Meticulously crafted mini-bags, created using the very latest technologies in the leather sector, all carefully heat welded and hand-sewn, in the firm belief that creativity and savoir fair must always walk hand-in-hand.

Her innate talent for capturing the essence of feminine taste; her love of refinement with a strong Italian character, and her Pop interpretation of everyday life, are the inspiration behind the unusual creations of this new label, which poses itself on the fashion scene as unique ‘Art a Porter’ objects.

The precious seal on each design is a branded, metal charm, designed and personalised by the designer, which is inspired by the symbols used in the artisanal leather goods sector – a constant reference to the visionary Italian spirit and prestige of ‘Made in Italy’ products.
