The label 'can't go naked' was created in 2004 by Katja Marschner, who had previously worked as a women's wear designer in New York and Barcelona.
'Bags' are not a new idea, and yet the combination of our simple shapes, clean lines & playful colours immediately hit a nerve. That & perhaps the fact that many of the bags may be worn in different ways.

It is due to the long-standing loyalty & success of our 'can't go naked' retail partners that we want to expand on this concept.
Our interest lies with sustainable & intelligent design - objects that withstand & weather every-day use.
All the materials are deliberately high in quality. They are hand-picked and coordinated with great care using trusted European suppliers & manufacturer. We know them. They know us and what is important to us.

Starting in 2005, 'can't go naked' built a network of retail partners in Germany and Spain.
Our plans for the future?
In 2010 and 2011, we intend to extend this network to span all of Europe and have our growing team implement many new ideas,
all true to our motto:
you just can't go naked!
