Eshvi is a London based jewellery brand, founded on the desire to create strong statement jewellery with a distinct style, combined with playfulness through its vibrant colour options and design.
After graduating in Fashion Design, sisters-in-law Natia Chkhartishvili and Tamar Svanidze flourished in a career within the industry which marked the ownership of a series of branded shops in the capital of Georgia. Their passion for fashion intensified into the desire to create their own label and transforming this into a successful business. A subsequent move to London revealed an emerging trend for costume jewellery which was to become the inspiration for their first collection. They had a dream for a brand which would be a way for them to channel their creative ability as well as become a commercial success. A chance meeting with Gisele Ganne, (formerly head of silver design at Stephen Webster) who was able to translate Natia and Tamar’s vision and turn it into something trend lead and wearable, bore fruit to Eshvi.
Eshvi, means ‘fang’ in Georgian and is generally understood to be a good luck charm. This iconic symbol is a distinguishing design detail of the brand and features centrally or subtly in the pieces.
Each piece of jewellery has been designed to turn an ordinary outfit into an extraordinary one. From dressing up an otherwise simple day look to creating a statement evening ensemble, Eshvi offers enough diversity to emphasize every look and mood. The Eshvi woman knows what she wants, knows her own mind and is confident to express and experiment with her own style.
With its distinct aesthetic, variety in colours and competitive price point the collection was snapped up by numerous stores including Luisa Via Roma in Florence as well as Kabiri in London.
