The Exquisite J collection was born in 1993 due to the fortunate meeting of Giancarlo Ferrari a graduate artist at the Accademy of Fine Arts in Florence and Francesco Bonamano graduate architect at the Politecnico in Milano.
At the beginning the spirit of the line was focused about the recycling of several materials for creating and giving birth to ironical pieces of jewellery and tiny bags
During all these years Giancarlo and Francesco have cultivated several stylish experiences for whatever concern the "world" of clothing and accessories working for many international brands and prestigious theatre productions.
In 1996 they have been mentioned for the first time in the "Dizionario della Moda" (Dictionary of Fashion) by Guido Vergani.
In 1998 was born the first "Real" Exquisite J collection which meets great success among the most important international buyers such as Barney's NY, Takashimaya, Lane Crawford, Isetan, Bus Stop, I.T.Hong Kong, Kashiyama.
It is a very personal collection that has many hints of vintage inspiration and then later translated and updated with a dash of " POP" influence.
During the past years the two designers have the opportunity to work with talentive artisans and craftsmen all over Italy. This is the reason why they decided to' "bring out" the "art" of whatever is "hand made" and "hand crafted".
The contemporary style of the collection is focused on the utilization of natural, soft and feminine materials along with the high level of manual ability that make these objects look "different".
Everything is entirely made in Italy.
