Berlin-based eyewear specialists Lunettes Kollektion and Julian Zigerli have joined forces and introduced a limited-edition sunglasses accessory that offers instant transformation. The five-piece collection blends Zigerli's fun and fashion-forward style harmoniously with Lunettes' classic inspirations from the annals of style.
These eyewear clip-ons deliver a universal embrace for all prescription glasses. Over-sized mirrored heart-shaped lenses in vivid tones of pink, red, gold, light blue and blue express the look of love in a whole new way.
“It was a very comfortable work relationship where the two design houses really merged perfectly, and we created an effortless and beautiful product,” said Zigerli of the collaboration. The line debuted during the Paris presentation of his Spring/Summer 2016 collection “White Rabbit,” a cute-curious menswear trip through a Japanese-influenced kawaii looking glass.
Lunettes Kollektion’s Uta Geyer translates iconic frames from fashion history to create classics with a twist – retro re-envisioned. Her designs and vintage eyewear shops in Berlin are on the must-see lists of discerning sorts from Architectural Digest to the Louis Vuitton Guide.
Zurich-based Julian Zigerli is known for his colorful and playful modern reinventions of men’s wear in performance fabrics. He shows at Milan and Berlin Fashion Weeks, and won the Swiss Design Award in 2012 & 2014.
