In 1981 the brand was founded by Mr. Robert Clergerie and the first store opened in Paris. The name ROBERT CLERGERIE is known for simplicity, pure design and high quality. Masculine shoe models, such as loafers and brogues have always been an important source of inspiration for the women`s shoe collection by Robert Clergerie. The spring/summer 2011 collection begins as well with a masculine brogue on a sensual, naked feminine foot. Men`s shoes that fit women`s feet like a glove.

Lambskin leather straps fit snugly on sun kissed bronze skin, which is highlighted by hearth tones and soft metallic colours of the season. Sandals gently rest on light wooden heels and on stitched wedges. The blend of leather and canvas brings the mood of the 70`s, which is also reflected in the use of vinyl, straw, snakeskin print and patent leather. The 70`s are also present in the split sole wooden wedges updated this summer with vegetable dyed leather heels.
