Established in 2011, RVN was founded by Ted Kim - an alumnus of Parsons The New School for Design. Receiving the recognition as “Designer of the Year” upon graduation, Kim began his career with New York designer Donna Karan. In 2002, Kim was hired as a Senior Designer at the American fashion and lifestyle brand Michael Kors. He was instrumental in building the global brand and directing its signature aesthetic. After 8 years, he became the Vice President of Design and Creative Director at Anne Klein, where he dressed powerful women including First Lady Michelle Obama.

In 2011, Kim launched RVN - offering high-end concepts at an accessible contemporary price point. Since then, RVN has amassed a celebrity following which includes Beyonce, Katy Perry, Amy Poehler, and Kylie Jenner. RVN is stocked globally by the world’s premier retailers including Saks Fifth Avenue, Harvey Nichols, Intermix, Otte, Revolve and Shopbop.
